Who We Are
This website is operated by Zhongshan Li-Men Technology Co., Ltd. ("Li-Men", "we", "us"), a water purifier manufacturer based in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our advertising landing pages, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
When you submit an inquiry through our website contact form, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, company name, country/region, phone number, WhatsApp number, product of interest, order quantity, and message content. We also record the language version of the page you submitted the form from, your IP address, your browser's user agent, and the cookie choices you had made at the time.
When you browse the site, cookies and similar technologies may collect information about your visit, as described in the next section. If you contact us through WhatsApp or email, we receive the information you send us through those services.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We group cookies into three categories:
- Strictly necessary: needed for the site to work. For example, the
site_consentcookie remembers your cookie choices for up to 12 months. These cookies can't be switched off. - Analytics: Google Analytics (cookies such as
_gaand_ga_*, kept for up to 2 years) helps us understand which pages are visited and how the site is used. - Marketing: the Meta Pixel (cookies such as
_fbpand_fbc, kept for up to 90 days) measures the results of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. The TikTok Pixel (cookies such as_ttp,ttcsid, and_tt_enable_cookie, kept for up to 13 months, plus attclidcookie we keep for 90 days when you arrive from a TikTok ad) does the same for our advertising on TikTok. If we run Google Ads campaigns, Google Ads (_gcl_*) is used for the same purpose. These tools may record the pages you view and actions such as clicking a WhatsApp, email, or phone link or submitting an inquiry.
Where analytics cookies are refused, Google may still receive cookieless measurement signals that don't identify you (Google Consent Mode). Marketing tools aren't loaded at all unless marketing cookies are allowed.
Your Cookie Choices
Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland see a cookie banner, and analytics and marketing cookies stay off until you accept them. In other regions these cookies are on by default.
Wherever you are, you can change or withdraw your choices at any time with the Your Privacy Choices link at the bottom of every page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out of marketing cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, communicate with you about our products and services, prepare quotations, and internally track and manage sales inquiries. We use analytics and marketing information to understand how our website performs and to measure and improve our advertising.
Advertising Measurement (Meta Conversions API and TikTok Events API)
If you have allowed marketing cookies when you submit an inquiry, we also send details of that inquiry directly from our server to Meta, so that Meta can match it to our ads. These details include your email address, phone number, first and last name, and country (encrypted with a one-way hash before they're sent), together with your IP address, user agent, and Meta browser identifiers. If the inquiry later progresses (for example, when we send a quotation or close a sale), we may send a similar event so that we can measure which ads bring genuine business. We also send the inquiry to TikTok through its Events API, so that TikTok can match it to our TikTok ads. This includes your email address and phone number (encrypted with a one-way hash), your IP address, user agent, TikTok browser identifiers (_ttp and ttclid), the page you submitted from, and the product you asked about. We don't send later inquiry updates to TikTok. If you haven't allowed marketing cookies, none of this is sent to Meta or TikTok. If analytics cookies are allowed, we also record the inquiry as an anonymous event in Google Analytics, without your contact details.
Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not rent or trade it. We share information only with service providers that help us run our business (such as website hosting, email, and the analytics and advertising providers named above). Under some US state privacy laws, such as California's, using advertising cookies to measure ads can count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out of this at any time through Your Privacy Choices or with a GPC signal.
Legal Bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
We process inquiry information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and for our legitimate interest in responding to and managing business inquiries. We use analytics and marketing cookies, and send inquiry events to Meta and TikTok, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
International Transfers
We are based in China, and some of our service providers (including Google, Meta, and TikTok) are located in the United States or other countries. Your information may therefore be processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection rules.
Data Retention
We retain inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request and maintain business records, in line with standard business practice. Cookie lifetimes are listed above.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, to receive a copy of it, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We won't treat you differently for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us using the email address below. If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
